Hong Kong College of Paediatric Nursing is dedicated to promote excellence in paediatric nursing in Hong Kong through regulating the professional standards of paediatric nursing practice, conducting nursing education and promulgating nursing research. It aims at protecting the well being of the children and adolescents in the community.
Objectives:
To oversee and promote the advancement of the art and science of paediatric nursing;
To define and promote the standards of advanced nursing practice for the paediatric subspecialties;
To assess, organize, monitor and accredit the paediatric nursing training programs;
To develop the professional standards for advanced paediatric nursing practice;
To arrange examinations for eligible candidates to be accredited as advanced practice nurses;
To promote excellence in nursing and health care in Hong Kong through regulating paediatric nursing and professional development;
To promote integrity, ethical practice and standards in advanced paediatric nursing.
