Welcome to this web!I am Dr. Jodie Li, Director of Jodie’s Chinese Medical Eye Institute of Hong Kong. 

My resume is as follows:

1970~1982 I graduated from the Medical University of Xi’an of China. I worked as physician, surgeon, obstetrics and gynecologist.

1989~1991 I studied the retinal degenerative diseases caused by high myopia at Tokyo Medical and Dental University of Japan under Professor Tokoro Takashi.

1991~1994 I went to Keio University of Japan to study Visual Electrophysiology in the Department of Ophthalmology, following internationally renowned professor Oguchi Yoshihisa. I have published four papers and co-authored two books “Visual Electrophysiology Clinical Manual” and “Clinical Neuro-ophthalmology”.

1996~1999 I worked as a research associate at the Department of Ophthalmology of Hong Kong Chinese University, while I researched early diagnosis of retinal diseases by visual electrophysiological technique. I published three papers at the “UK Ophthalmology”. But the patients were diagnosed had to be helpless to that : there is no treatment methods! I firmly believe that Chinese medicine can help these patients.

1999~now Therefore I established "Jodie Chinese Medical Eye Institute of Hong Kong".After the grand opening, I purchased small pupil fundus camera, non-contact tonometer and slit lamp and other advanced inspection equipments, to record the treatment results before and after treatment for scientific documentation. The treatment methods cover a large spectrum of eye ailments such as Iritis, Uveitis, Glaucoma, Age-related Macular Degeneration, Retinitis Pigmentosa, Myopia, Amblyopia, Floaters, Cataract, Retinal Bleeding and ,even Blindness. Our Institute has been treating over 30,000 visits for 15 yearsMany international patients have traveled multiple times to seek treatment here. Traditional Chinese medical Ophthalmology has offered an effective and alternative method for these patients and did miracles for them.Presently we are further modifying and improving the treatment efficacy and also teaching "Chinese Medical Ophthalmology", actively training young doctors for the future generations.At the dawn of the New Year, we are determined to bring a better vision, trustworthiness, impressive healthcare service to our patients!
