SUMMER PROGRAMMES
Outstanding residential summer courses in Oxford and Cheltenham, which are world recognised places for having first class education institutions. Feedback from participants has been very encouraging. Last year, we welcomed students from over 75 different countries. We only promote programs that truly offer international summer school experience and insights into the British way of life and heritage, combining English tuition with a range of out-of-class activities and cultural visits. Depending on the age group, we have 3 locations set in beautiful green campus of well prestigious schools with excellent facilities. In a nutshell, the programmes include 15 hours English tuition each week focusing as much as possible on the English syllabus. The key areas include speaking, listening and writing, with particular emphasis on communication in a real life context. We aim to increase the confidence of all the students to comfortably communicate in a multi-national environment and to assist speedy development in their ongoing English language learning. There are also options for ‘English Plus’ offering additional 2 afternoons weekly for students who wish to engage in the subject further. Throughout their stay, student’s progress is well monitored and they will receive a progress report and certificates on departure. Furthermore, for Upper Intermediate and Advanced level students, there is an option for students who wish to follow an academic curriculum similar to that used in UK boarding schools. The subjects studied, all taught in English, include History, Geography, Creative Writing, English Literature and Science. This will replace the general English Language classes. Academic aside, the programme also offers a wide variety of multi-activity programme in the afternoon, two full days excursions per week plus some local visits. The social occasions will enable the students to practice the speaking skills, make friends, have fun and share an unforgettable time.
